Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is sourcing a hospital-based pathologist for a full-time position in the United States. The role focuses on general surgical pathology including breast, GU, and head & neck cases with no grossing or autopsies.

Typical annual caseload comprises ~7,500 surgical and ~500 cytology cases across a 3-FTE team. The position offers a standard day schedule (8 am–5 pm) with no night or weekend shifts, competitive compensation, and paid malpractice insurance; travel and housing expenses

Qualifications

• Board-certified pathologist with AP training required.
• Experience in general surgical pathology including breast, GU, and head & neck cases preferred.
• Ability to work in a hospital-based pathology setting with routine cases only, no grossing or autopsies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and sign-out general surgical pathology cases (breast, GU, head & neck).
• Communicate findings with clinical teams and document reports.
• Collaborate with 3 FTE pathologists; no grossing or autopsy duties.
