Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5+ years as a flat-rate dealership technician with high efficiency and low comebacks.
• GM training certifications; Master Certified preferred; ASE certifications current in listed areas.
• Must possess a comprehensive set of master-level tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex vehicle systems including engines, electrical, transmissions, drivability, and ADAS.
• Use GM factory scan tools and advanced diagnostic equipment to find root causes.
• Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs per GM factory specs and safety protocols.
• Conduct digital multi-point inspections and explain results to guests with service advisors.
• Mentor junior technicians and foster shop development.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, masterfully troubleshoot, and repair complex vehicle systems, including internal engine failures, advanced electrical, transmissions (including heavy line), drivability issues, and ADAS safety systems.
• Utilize GM factory scan tools and advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately determine root causes of failure.
• Perform high‑quality, efficient warranty and customer‑pay repairs strictly adhering to General Motors factory specifications and safety protocols.
• Conduct detailed digital multi‑point inspections and collaborate closely with Service Advisors to provide clear, transparent explanations for our guests.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry‑level and C‑level technicians, fostering an environment of continuous shop development.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 4–5+ years as a flat‑rate dealership technician with a proven track record of high efficiency and low comebacks.
• Certifications: Current General Motors (GM) Training Certifications (Master Certified preferred); strong portfolio of current ASE certifications; maintain ASE Certification in the following areas:
  • A1: Engine Repair
  • A2: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle
  • A3: Manual Drive Train & Axles
  • A4: Suspension & Steering
  • A5: Brakes
  • A6: Electrical/Electronic Systems
  • A7: Heating & Air Conditioning
  • AB: Engine Performance
  • A9: Light Vehicle Diesel Engines
• Tools: Must possess a comprehensive set of master‑level professional hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and secure tool storage.
• Skills: Expert‑level proficiency in reading wiring diagrams, executing complex electrical diagnostics, and utilizing modern flash programming modules.
• Requirements: A valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record; ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.
• Competency: Leadership, technical expertise, customer focus, and adaptability to fast‑paced work environments.
