Job summary

JBS USA seeks a Purchasing & Packaging Coordinator for the A-Shift at our Grand Island, Nebraska facility. You will support inventory, packaging, and overall supply operations, ensuring accurate counts and smooth material flow.

Responsibilities include organizing packaging areas, loading/unloading trailers, performing counts, and identifying improvements. Strong communication, organization, and computer skills (Word/Excel) are essential; forklift training is available if needed.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Dependable with strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
• Ability to identify issues and elevate when needed.
• Knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift up to 100 lbs individually; 50 lbs occasionally.
• Preferred forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize packaging floor areas
• Load and unload trailers
• Perform inventory counts, receiving, and issuing materials
• Recommend improvements to inventory management
• Identify and correct inventory discrepancies
• Operate computer systems for inventory tasks
• Willing to train on forklift
• Perform additional duties as assigned
