Deckers Brands is seeking a DC Training Coordinator to manage training records, audits, and standard work documentation at the Distribution Center.
This role ensures GDP-compliant records, conducts post-training evaluations, and authors SWIs in English to support operations and continuous improvement.
You will partner with Training and Operations to validate competency, support labor measurement, and sustain documentation accuracy in a fast-paced DC.
GENERAL NATURE OF POSITION:
The DC Training Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate training records, ensuring audit readiness, and supporting training governance across Distribution Center Operations. This role resides within the Training Department and serves as a key control point for documentation accuracy, training validation, and standard work integrity.
The DC Training Coordinator applies Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure training records, evaluations, and standard work materials are complete, accurate, and audit-ready at all times. The role is responsible for conducting post-training evaluations to verify competency, adherence to standard work, and training effectiveness.
In addition, the DC Training Coordinator is responsible for authoring, reviewing, and maintaining Standard Work Instructions (SWIs). This requires fluency in written and spoken English to clearly document processes, safety requirements, and execution standards in a manner that is consistent, understandable, and usable by the operation.
The DC Training Coordinator assists Distribution Center Operations while maintaining primary accountability for training records, evaluations, and standard work accuracy. The role also supports labor measurement activities and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Operations and functional partners.
Training Records & Audit Readiness: Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant training records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Ensure documentation is audit-ready at all times and proactively address gaps, discrepancies, or compliance risks.
Training Evaluations & Competency Verification: Conduct post-training evaluations to verify associate competency, adherence to standard work, and training effectiveness. Document evaluation results and communicate findings to Training and Operations leadership as appropriate.
Standard Work Instruction (SWI) Development: Author, review, and maintain Standard Work Instructions to ensure processes are clearly documented, current, and aligned with operational execution. Ensure SWIs meet documentation standards and are written clearly in English for consistent understanding and use.
Engineering Support: Provide engineering support through labor measurement activities, including MOST-based time studies, to assist with labor standards, productivity analysis, and process optimization. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for systems, tools, or process changes by validating functionality, usability, and alignment with standard work and training requirements.
Continuous Improvement Support: Support continuous improvement initiatives by assisting with process observation, data collection, root cause analysis, and validation of improvement actions in collaboration with Operations and functional partners.
Operational Support: Assist Distribution Center Operations while maintaining primary responsibility for training documentation, evaluations, and standard work accuracy.

Author, review, and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) to ensure processes are clearly documented, current, and aligned with operational execution.
25% Training Records, GDP Compliance & Audit Readiness Maintain accurate and compliant training records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Monitor documentation completeness, address gaps or discrepancies, and ensure training records remain audit-ready at all times.
15% Operational Support Assist Distribution Center Operations while maintaining primary accountability for training documentation, evaluations, and standard work accuracy.
10% Engineering Support (Labor Measurement & UAT) Provide engineering support through labor measurement activities, including MOST-based time studies, to assist with labor standards, productivity analysis, and process optimization. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for systems, tools, or process changes by validating functionality, usability, and alignment with standard work and training requirements.

Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
