Textron Aviation is hiring a full-time A&P Mechanic or AMT for a Mobile Service Technician role in Lubbock, TX. This position offers up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus and involves on-site aircraft maintenance, inspections, and parts management.

You will perform diagnostic and repair work across various aircraft models, while ensuring compliance with FAR 43 reporting and safety standards. The role supports team collaboration and mobile service vehicle upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A&P License required.
• Knowledge of FAR Part 145 procedures.
• Minimum 2 years’ diversified aircraft maintenance experience (jets, turboprops, pistons).
• Prefer 1+ year on Cessna, Hawker or Beechcraft aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and mechanical duties on various aircraft models, including disassembly, repair, replacement, reassembly and adjustment of systems.
• Check, correct, or replace complex aircraft assemblies and systems with FAR 43 documentation in logs.
• Order and obtain necessary parts for repairs and ensure cores are returned per procedures.
• Ensure all maintenance complies with Quality Control and safety standards.
• Collaborate with mechanics and avionic technicians to meet customer expectations.
• Inspect, maintain and service the mobile service vehicle and equipment.
