A leading air ambulance provider in Redding, California is seeking an A&P Mechanic to ensure aircraft readiness for emergency responses. The role requires an FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant and provides a competitive pay range between $30.57 and $37.62 per hour, with potential annual earnings from $73,123 to $89,987. A sign-on bonus of up to $35,000 is offered. Candidates must live within a one-hour drive from the base and be able to work night shifts if required.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic.
Ability to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam.
Must be able to travel frequently with short notice.
Responsibilities
Review daily maintenance or inspection requirements.
Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations.
Maintain parts inventory and recommend level changes.
Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
