A leading air ambulance provider in Redding, California is seeking an A&P Mechanic to ensure aircraft readiness for emergency responses. The role requires an FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant and provides a competitive pay range between $30.57 and $37.62 per hour, with potential annual earnings from $73,123 to $89,987. A sign-on bonus of up to $35,000 is offered. Candidates must live within a one-hour drive from the base and be able to work night shifts if required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic.
• Ability to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam.
• Must be able to travel frequently with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Review daily maintenance or inspection requirements.
• Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations.
• Maintain parts inventory and recommend level changes.
• Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
