Job summary

Textron Aviation in Orlando, FL is hiring a full-time Experienced A&P Mechanic (Airframe & Powerplant) for multiple shifts. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an active A&P license, knowledge of FAR 43 inspections, and 2+ years of varied jet, turboprop, and piston maintenance. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available. Relocation assistance and day-one benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• A&P License Required.
• Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required.
• A minimum of 2 years experience with varied jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, modify, and repair Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft.
• Perform engine run-ups and airframe maintenance checks.
• Disassemble, rework, repair, and reassemble aircraft systems and components.
• Use precision tools to install service bulletins and kits on aircraft.
