Job summary

Aero Inspection & Repair is hiring A&P mechanics at every experience level for full-time, on-site work at our Billings repair station. We welcome new or experienced technicians to join a wide range of airframes and engines, with opportunities to lead on complex jobs and inspections.

You'll perform inspections, troubleshoot and repair systems, and maintain aircraft records while working in a heated hangar with a small team that values safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals and data
• On-site work in Billings, MT
• Valid driver’s license
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections (annuals, 100-hour, progressive) on piston and turbine aircraft
• Troubleshoot and repair airframe, powerplant, landing gear, flight control and fuel systems
• Remove, install and service engines, propellers and components
• Carry out scheduled maintenance on light and medium jets per manufacturer programs
• Complete sheet metal and structural repairs
• Comply with Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins
• Follow AIR's Repair Station Manual and maintenance data
• Keep accurate maintenance records and work orders
• Work safely around aircraft and keep the shop organized
• Communicate findings and parts needs to team
• Travel off-site for field work as needed
