Job summary

LV Aero, LLC is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance technician to perform typical maintenance tasks per approved data and SOPs. You will troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect and overhaul aircraft and systems to ensure airworthiness, while maintaining thorough records.

Requirements include an A&P rating and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with King Air and single-engine piston familiarity. A high school diploma is required and on-site work in Montana may involve on-call AOG support.

Qualifications

• A&P certification required with aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience on King Air and single-engine piston aircraft preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, inspect and overhaul aircraft systems according to approved data.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance operations as per SOP and OEM data.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and overhaul aircraft and systems.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate service records.
• Follow safety procedures and customer specifications.
• Communicate effectively with team and management.
• On-call maintenance and AOG support as needed.

Job description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Typical maintenance operations, such as removal and replacement of aircraft and power plant components in accordance with Company Maintenance SOP, Manufacturer/OEM approved data
• Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, inspect, modify, replace, overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems using approved data to ensure airworthiness
• Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish each specific task
• Follow all safety procedures and specifications
• Complete all required paperwork, maintain proficient records of repairs
• Use and operate all equipment in a safe manner
• Communicate effectively with management, team members and customers
• Perform On-Call airline maintenance ( Additional Income for each event)
• AOG maintenance when customer requests. We are a preferred maintenance vendor for multiple charter companies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Airframe and Power plant (A&P) Rating
• 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Aircraft Qualifications and Skills:
• King Air / Single engine piston
• Light corporate jet experience
