Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking a qualified A&P Mechanic for our client in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. The role involves inspecting and maintaining light piston single- and multi-engine aircraft, including Cessna 172s and Piper Archers, to ensure airworthiness and safety.

Candidates may be FAA certificated A&P or IA with a passion for general aviation. The schedule is flexible on weekdays with options like 8 AM–4 PM or 5 PM to fit personal needs.

Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or Inspector Authorization (IA).
  • Experience with light piston single- and multi-engine aircraft preferred.
  • Flexible Monday–Friday schedule.
  • Available hours can be tailored to 8 AM–4 PM or 5 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections and maintenance on light piston aircraft.
  • Maintain flight school aircraft (Cessna 172s, Piper Archers, and other GA aircraft).
  • Ensure all aircraft meet safety and airworthiness standards.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to streamline processes and meet company goals.
  • Communicate maintenance needs and priorities to the team.
