Job summary

Certified Aviation Services, LLC is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to perform preventative maintenance and alterations on client aircraft in compliance with FAA rules and safety standards. Responsibilities include inspections of engines, landing gear, systems, and airframes; documentation of work; and adherence to CAS values of safety, integrity, respect and trust.

A&P license and 1 year line maintenance preferred; strong English and ability to pass drug screening required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license with no infractions.
• 1 year of line maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, airframe structures, engines, aircraft systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams with proper interpretation.
• Removal and disassembly of defective parts; install replacement parts; test aircraft systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and sign off on mechanical flight releases.
• Maintain a safe, professional work environment and adhere to CAS values.

Position Summary:Aircraft Maintenance Technicians are responsible for preventative maintenance and alterations of (CLIENT’S) aircraft with the ability to adhere to specifications and Safety Standards. The Aircraft Technician will inspect aircraft engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, accessories, brakes, valves, pumps, and air-conditioning systems. Technicians will maintain records related to maintenance performed on the aircraft along with the signing of mechanical flight releases. Mechanics may also repair sheet metal or composite surfaces and will rely on the pilots’ description of a problem to discover and restore faulty equipment. As a certified AMT, you have a valuable role to ensure the safety of our fellow (CLIENT) Team members and Guests as well as the airworthiness of fleet assigned.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform all assigned maintenance duties related to; routine inspections, troubleshooting, airframe structures, engines, aircraft systems etc.Perform all airframe, power plant repairs and modifications required to meet Company, Client, and FAA requirementsRead and understand blue prints and aircraft wiring diagrams with proper interpretation and incorporationRemoval and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systemEnsure all documentation is kept current with open discrepancies and completed corrective actions with accuracyOperate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment while maintaining a clean and operative working environment at all timesAccurately and timely record and submit work ordersMaintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all timesTows and parks aircraftPerforms other aircraft maintenance work as may be requiredAccomplish performance measures that cohere with CAS and (CLIENT’S) values of safety, integrity, respect, and trustMinimum Qualifications, skills, and abilities:High School Diploma or EquivalentMust hold a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractionsKnowledge and Understanding of the English Language1 year of previous line maintenance experience preferred, not RequiredExperience and/or training on at least two commercial aircraft types, (A319, A320, A321, and/or B737, B767, B777 & E190 aircraft preferred)Strong verbal and written communication skillsComputer literacyAbility to legally operate a motorized vehicleMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.Exemplifies CAS and (CLIENT’S) safety culture, values, and missionPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess the ability to:1. Noise and vibration are common when engines are on, so ear protection is necessary.Working conditions: A&P Mechanics commonly work in all elements, capability to handle weather extremes is desired. Mechanics often work under time pressure to maintain flight schedules to keep from inconveniencing customers. At the same time, mechanics have a tremendous responsibility to maintain safety standards.
