AIM's Norfolk campus is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor (A&P Mechanic) to train the next generation of FAA-certified mechanics. Full-time role offering a structured 5-day paid instructor training program and opportunities to mentor former military personnel using GI Bill benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience; background as A&P Mechanic/AMT.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Teach FAA Part 147-aligned aviation maintenance curriculum in classroom and hangar settings.
• Deliver hands-on instruction and demonstrate practical A&P procedures.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and student progress records.
• Support curriculum updates and work with program leadership.
