Textron Aviation in Orlando, FL is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Inspector (1st Shift) to uphold the highest aviation safety standards and ensure inspections meet FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines. You will support Service Center operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and safety, contributing to reliable aircraft readiness.

The role requires an A&P license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3+ years of diversified A&P experience on jets and turboprops.

• Ability to use arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications is needed.

Responsibilities

• Final Airworthiness Inspections: Inspect aircraft and components to ensure compliance with Textron Aviation Quality standards and FAA regulations for return to service.
• Quality & Compliance Oversight: Review inspection records, reports, and documentation for accuracy and adherence to RII, Part 135, and internal quality standards.
• Tooling & Equipment Verification: Perform periodic checks and calibrations on precision tools and test equipment to meet FAA and OEM specifications.
• Material & Parts Control: Inspect and accept incoming parts and supplies, ensure proper tagging and traceability, and prevent installation of unairworthy components.
• Technical Documentation & Resources: Use OEM manuals, wiring diagrams, structural repair manuals, and MELs to guide inspections and maintenance procedures.
• Aircraft Walkarounds & Safety Checks: Conduct regular aircraft walkarounds to verify form usage, identify hazards, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
