Job summary

Sterling Helicopter is seeking an experienced A&P Helicopter Mechanic to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair rotary-wing aircraft to ensure safe and reliable operation at North Perry Airport, Pembroke Pines, FL.

The role performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Bell, Airbus, Leonardo, Sikorsky, and MD models, adheres to FAA regulations and Sterling’s manuals, and maintains accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
• Ability to pass an FAA-required drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair rotary-wing aircraft to ensure safe operation.
• Perform routine inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Bell, Airbus, Leonardo (Agusta), Sikorsky, and MD models.
• Document all work in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and Sterling procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
• Perform component overhauls as required.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to diagnose discrepancies and resolve issues.
