Job summary

Metro Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Skillbridge A&P Aviation Maintenance Technician to work as an integral part of the Metro team for our operations across the United States. This role supports transitioning service members through BreakTurn, a DoD SkillBridge partner.

The A&P Technician ensures aircraft are maintained in a safe, airworthy condition per applicable regulations and Metro policy, while coordinating with the Lead AMT on maintenance planning and execution.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years turbine rotorcraft or airplane experience.
• Experience in maintenance, inspection, and repair activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain liaison with the Lead AMT to track aircraft status and downtime.
• Perform inspection, modification, maintenance, and repair of aircraft, airframe, rotors, engines, and components.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with the Lead AMT considering workflow and parts availability.
• Communicate with pilots and clinical crew regarding aircraft condition.
• Maintain field base to company standards and keep tools and equipment calibrated.
