Job summary

Eastern Airlines Llc is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Kansas City, MO. This full-time role reports to Maintenance Control with oversight from the DOM, and focuses on day-to-day maintenance of the company’s aircraft and engines.

The ideal candidate will have a valid FAA A&P certificate, 2+ years of Part 121 experience (Boeing 737 Classic preferred), strong mechanical aptitude, and solid communication skills to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or higher.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate.
• 2+ years of experience on commercial aircraft in Part 121 environment.
• Boeing 737 Classic experience preferred.
• Ability to pass assessments and tests.
• Willingness to travel and lift 70–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance per procedures and data while performing duties.
• Meet aircraft, check maintenance logs, and respond to discrepancies.
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft.
• Reference manuals and wiring diagrams to perform work.
• Complete required paperwork per GMM procedures.
• Use only approved hardware, parts, and equipment.
• Promote teamwork amongst maintenance personnel and flight crews.
• Maintain workspace, materials, and tooling per policies.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols.
• Pursue additional qualifications through training as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
