Gulfstream Aerospace in St. Louis is seeking an AMT II A&P to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of critical aircraft components. You will troubleshoot systems, coordinate with FAA inspections, and ensure high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Required are a valid A&P license, 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, and a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Responsibilities

• Perform required maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
• Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems.
• Coordinate with inspection to ensure FAA inspection and documentation requirements are met.
• Complete work orders sign-offs, shift turnovers, and other paperwork in a timely manner.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and store customer property and equipment securely.
• Follow SOPs and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
• Operate and oversee use of special equipment for removal and installation of major components.
• Coordinate with other departments for overhaul or repair of customer property as needed.
• Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to keep shops clean.
• Maintain knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, and company policies.
