Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in the United States to maintain Learjets and Vision Jets across the country. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, with focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency of operations.

Qualified candidates hold an FAA A&P certificate, at least 6 years of experience, and can work day or night shifts. You will interact with the Director of Maintenance and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• FAA Mechanic Certificate with A&P ratings.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (Parts 135 & 145).
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs per manufacturer manuals and FAA data.
• Ensure maintenance complies with FARs and internal policies.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and other docs.
• Move and position aircraft using tow tractors.
• Maintain safe, organized work environment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Participate in weekly maintenance meetings with the Director of Maintenance.
• Support additional maintenance and operational duties.
