Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) with an FAA A&P license to join our Technical Operations team in one of our domestic HUBS. You will service and maintain aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe and Components, including inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and routine repairs.

Qualifications include an FAA A&P license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FAA A&P License required.
• Valid US Driver's License required.
• Computer literacy required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to train.
• Ability to access elevated aircraft areas via ladders, lift trucks, boom lifts and other devices.
• The strength to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance for aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe and Components.
• Handle inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement and repair, as well as routine maintenance.
• Work to keep fleet at flight-ready status and comply with aviation standards.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure safe and efficient operations.
