Job summary

Lynden Air Cargo seeks an experienced A&P Aircraft Mechanic to diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on Lynden aircraft and components. The candidate should demonstrate keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and clear communication.

The role includes potential global travel, lead mechanic duties where qualified, and working under CFRs and Lynden GMM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or two years related experience and/or training on type (Lockheed Martin C130/L382).
• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant Ratings.
• FCC General Radio Telephone Operator License (desirable).
• Current US Driver's License and passport required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all work in accordance with Lynden Air Cargo policies, procedures, and CFRs.
• Records all maintenance work on required forms per LAC GMM.
• Assumes responsibility for work performed as indicated by signatures.
• Reports abnormal conditions to supervision.
• Performs airworthiness release of aircraft when authorized.
• Maintains ground support equipment as assigned.
• Trains and assists other mechanics as qualified.
• May travel globally to support the fleet, and lead as needed.
