Job summary

Kenmore Air is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to join our team in Kenmore, WA. This full-time role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft, performing diagnostic tests, and conducting monthly, quarterly and annual checks to keep our fleet safe and reliable.

Candidates must hold an FAA A&P certificate, have at least two years of general aviation maintenance experience, possess a valid US driver’s license, and be able to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) required.
• Minimum of two years general aviation maintenance experience.
• Valid US Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and employment verification.
• Complete set of tools for aircraft maintenance.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on aircraft and perform repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Run diagnostic tests to identify malfunctions.
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual checks on the aircraft.
• Maintain records relating to maintenance.
• Ensure our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventative care to equipment and timely repairs.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
