Job summary

Cirrus is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to operate from a designated Factory Service Center in Scottsdale. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications and repairs with diagnostic and mechanical duties in line with manuals, SOPs, and FAA rules.

Occasional travel and direct interaction with Owners/Operators are expected. Candidate must have 4+ years in aircraft maintenance, CFR Part 65 certification (Repairman or A&P), an FAA A&P license, and a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• FAAST Bronze or better certification required.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license (Part 65) required.
• CFR Part 65 Certification – Repairmen or A&P required.
• 4+ years' proven aircraft maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Cirrus Aircraft Standard Operating Procedures.
• Comply with environmental health/safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain professionalism in conduct and appearance while representing Cirrus Aircraft.
• Observe and meet the requirements of Cirrus Part 145 Repair Station Manual.
• Read and understand maintenance manuals and identify repair procedures.
• Perform mission critical repairs, troubleshooting and return-to-service on AOG aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and technical data.
• Review and research aircraft records; evaluate and interpret data; diagnose systems.
• Utilize diagnostic/test equipment and inspect/replace defective parts.
• Assemble components and perform measurements/testing/adjustments.
• Install/load system software and databases; ensure work meets standards.
• Assist and participate in factory service center activities and continuous improvement projects.
