Job summary

Reach Air Medical Services in Napa, CA is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to oversee maintenance and safety of the fleet, focused on EC135 airframe. The role includes ensuring timely, high-quality transportation services to patients.

The position requires turbine-powered helicopter experience, FAA credentials, and willingness for flexible, on-call hours. Starting salary is competitive with a $12,500 sign-on bonus and an $2,080 IA stipend.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter experience.
• Valid A&P license.
• Valid State drivers license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
• Flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable per FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs, and provide updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks and maintain equipment tracking log; place replacement requests.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information; follow policies and information security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members for effective operations.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and the operations team.
