Job summary

Cotulla Education's Philadelphia campus is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor to train the next generation of FAA-certified mechanics in our Part 147 program. This role emphasizes hands-on teaching, safety, and mentoring seasoned technicians transitioning to the classroom.

We offer a 5-day paid instructor training program, a competitive hourly wage up to $40, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, full-time employment, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years minimum aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA A&P certificate required.
• Background as an A&P Mechanic or AMT.
• Ability to mentor and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft maintenance systems and procedures in hands-on settings.
• Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum for A&P certification.
• Demonstrate practical skills used by A&P mechanics.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and progress records.
• Support curriculum updates with program leadership.
• Create a structured, engaging, safety-focused learning environment.
• Maintain classroom, lab equipment, and training materials.
