Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Inspector to oversee the return to service of assigned aircraft, completing work orders and documentation from pre-planning to delivery. The role emphasizes adherence to repair station manuals, FAR/FAA guidelines, and quality control.

The ideal candidate holds an A&P license, 5+ years as an inspector or technician, and strong ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and logs in a hangar environment.

Qualifications

• A&P license and high school diploma.
• 5+ years in airframe/engine inspection or related work.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect airframes, engines, components and modifications per manuals and standards.
• Complete inspections and documentation, coordinating with maintenance and production staff.
• Use precise measuring and test equipment to verify conformity.
• Audit task cards and work order packages before aircraft release.
• Review log books and ensure accurate recording of maintenance.
• Perform AD research as needed.
• Receive paperwork from Maintenance Lead and prepare documentation for delivery.
• Review others' completed work and conduct inspections and tests as required.
• Compute weight and balance data and revise equipment lists.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
