Job summary

CompHealth is seeking candidates for a hospital-based, full-time assignment in New York. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the option for 10-hour shifts, and a 1:8 pager rotation.

Expect 2–14 patients per day depending on case type, with ongoing coverage two weeks per month minimum. CompHealth handles credentialing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage, while deposits are paid weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital coverage with standard shifts and on-call rotation.
• Care for patients across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, neurosurgery, pediatric care, spine and epidurals.
• Coordinate with CompHealth recruiters and access assignment details via the online portal.
