Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a medical oncologist to provide outpatient and inpatient oncology coverage in Washington state. The assignment handles 10–15 patients per day with a mix of hematology and oncology; hospital privileges are required.

The position includes paid malpractice insurance, prepaid travel and housing, and time-entry through an online portal. Compensation ranges from $375 to $500 per hour, all-inclusive, with Weatherby’s 24‑hour consultant support and nationwide locum-tenens

Qualifications

• Board-certified oncologist with active medical license in Washington.
• Experience in both hematology and oncology preferred.
• Locum tenens or temporary coverage experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient medical oncology coverage.
• Manage 10–15 patients per day across hematology/oncology.
• Maintain hospital privileges and coordinate with facility staff.
