Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare locum-tenens opportunity in Maryland seeks an experienced inpatient psychiatrist for an Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit. Hospital privileges required; travel and housing expenses pre-paid. Shift coverage includes M-F 8 am–5 pm with about 10 weekend shifts per year.

Expected patient load ranges from 10 to 12 per day. Weatherby provides dedicated consultants and is a charter member of NALTO, offering reliable support throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Cover the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit on site.
• Manage a workload of 10–12 patients per day.
• Provide psychiatric care during M-F 8 am–5 pm with about 10 weekend shifts per year.
• Weekend shifts — Fri 5 pm to Mon 8 am.
