Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a locum tenens physician for hospital assignments in Michigan. The role covers 7 am shifts with 24-hour and clinic blocks, handling 16–20 patients daily in a busy clinic setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES: perform suction D&C, laparoscopy, C-sections, tubal ligations; circumcisions and NST readings are required. ACLS and BLS certification are mandatory; paid malpractice and travel/housing are provided.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
• Locum tenens experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Shift starts at 7 am; 24-hour and clinic shifts available.
• Cover 16–20 patients per day in the clinic.
• Work in a hospital setting with obstetric and general surgical procedures.
• Perform procedures including suction D&C, laparoscopy, C-sections, tubal ligations.
• Circumcisions and reading NSTs required.
