Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a locum tenens physician for an ongoing Alaska assignment. The role covers both inpatient and outpatient settings with admissions required and a stroke-certified hospital environment.

The schedule is approximately two weeks per month, with an average of 15 patients per shift and daily call activity. Weatherby provides pre-paid travel and housing, plus 24-hour access to a dedicated consultant through a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Inpatient and outpatient practice required.
• Admissions required for this assignment.
• Stroke certified hospital experience preferred.
• Trauma Level 3 facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care with admissions as needed.
• Respond to calls and manage approximately 2 phone consults, 1 patient seen, and 1 admission per 24 hours.
