Job summary

CompHealth is currently assisting with placing emergency medicine physicians for overnight shifts from 7 pm to 7 am. The role includes managing 10–13 patients per night in a hospitalist-supported environment with no trauma designation.

Board certification is required, including ATLS, PALS, and ACLS. We provide housing, travel arrangements, comprehensive malpractice coverage, and a streamlined credentialing process.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in emergency medicine.
• ATLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Emergency medicine experience; hospitalist in place at all times.
• No rounding required; inpatient handoff only.

Responsibilities

• Cover one shift per night: 7 pm – 7 am.
• Manage 10–13 patients per night shift.
• Work in an emergency medicine/hospitalist setting with no trauma designation.
• Credentialing and privileging handled with assistance from CompHealth.
