Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum anesthesia provider in California to cover variable shifts, including evenings and weekends, in a community practice setting.

Caseload includes ASA 2 patients with general anesthesia across multiple case types; no cardiac or thoracic cases, pediatric patients over 2.

Assignments include paid malpractice, prepaid travel and housing, and dedicated Weatherby consultants for 24-hour support.

Job description

• Variable shifts -- 8, 10, or 12 hrs; evenings and weekends prioritized
• All calls are in-house
• Mostly ASA 2 patients -- simple and uncomplicated practice
• No cardiac or thoracic cases
• Healthy pediatric patients older than 2 years -- limited volume
• General anesthesia across multiple case types
• Community practice experience appropriate
