Job description

DEALERSHIP TECH? READY FOR A CHANGE?

What if you could make a great living fixing cars - without working weekends, getting shorted on warranty time, or dealing with corporate politics?

AmeriFix is a family-owned, fast-growing repair group looking for an experienced Automotive Technician who wants competitive pay, real work/life balance, and the chance to work in a clean, well-equipped shop with a strong team.

If you're at a dealership you know the drill:

• Weekend work
• Warranty time that doesn't pay for what the job actually takes
• Recall campaigns eating your schedule
• Corporate rules and politics
• Pressure to produce instead of properly repairing the vehicle

At AmeriFix, we do it differently:

• Full book time + a 25% labor time bump for estimating - you're paid fairly for your time
• 5-day work week - no weekends
• Service Advisors who sell your work
• Locally owned, people-first - no corporate or factory politics
• A professional shop that values your experience and does the job right

Our shops handle everything from maintenance and alignments to major repairs, engine swaps, and transmission replacements. You'll work on a variety of brands and keep growing your skills in an industry that never stands still.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous automotive technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and repair ability
• Ability to perform thorough inspections and quality repairsValid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Own tools required; specialty tools provided
• Team player with a professional attitude
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Benefits:

• Competitive flat rate pay with strong earning potential
• Health, dental, and vision insurance - 50% of premiums employer paid
• Employer-paid life insurance and long-term disability
• Short-term disability, accident, and critical illness coverage
• Retirement plan with employer match
• Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays (25 paid days off per year)
• Well-lit, climate-controlled shops
• Up-to-date tools and technology, with specialty tools provided
• Tool reimbursement
• Company-paid training and career development, with potential ASE reimbursement
• Christmas Club program with company match
• Company events
