VIP Automotive Group in Westbury, NY is seeking an experienced automotive technician for a full-time, five-day schedule. You will diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems in modern vehicles, using dealer diagnostics and manufacturer procedures.

The role offers competitive compensation, with a salary range of $105,000–$150,000+ annually, weekly bonuses, and paid ASE certifications and manufacturer training. Benefits include health/dental coverage, vacation, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience as an automotive dealership technician.
• Experience as A-Level or Master Technician preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform advanced engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, and brake work.
• Diagnose electrical systems and computer controls.
• Use dealership diagnostic equipment and manufacturer procedures.
• Complete multi-point inspections and maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
• Program vehicles, apply software updates, and diagnose modules as required.
• Identify additional repair needs and communicate recommendations.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
• Collaborate with service advisors, parts staff, and management.
• Maintain productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
