Neil Huffman Mazda Volkswagen in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. This full-time role offers flat-rate pay of $35-$45 per flagged hour and weekly pay, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week during the first two months.

You will diagnose and repair engines, drivability, electrical and major mechanical issues, mentor junior techs, and work in a modern dealership with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional automotive technician experience.
• Strong automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience performing engine repair and major mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate production environment.
• Own basic technician tools.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Volkswagen certifications preferred.
• Mazda certifications preferred.
• Previous dealership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting on a variety of vehicle systems.
• Diagnose and repair engine performance, drivability, electrical, and heavy mechanical concerns.
• Complete engine repair and replacement, brake, steering, and suspension repairs.
• Conduct accurate vehicle inspections and provide detailed repair recommendations.
• Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship in a flat-rate environment.
• Mentor and assist less experienced technicians as needed.
• Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards.
