Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens assignments across Georgia. The role involves inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care across age groups, including crisis and follow-up evaluations. Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist or eligible for licensure in Georgia.
• Experience with acute, sub-acute and long-term psychiatric care.
• Familiar with involuntary commitments and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans.
• Administer and supervise pharmacotherapy and ECT as needed.
• Coordinate with facilities and care teams for patient safety.
• Follow facility protocols and ensure timely documentation.
