Job summary

GLOBAL MEDICAL STAFFING seeks a locum Radiation Oncologist for a travel assignment in Tyler, TX. The role includes new patient consultations, follow-ups, OTVs, and simulations using linear accelerator-based treatments including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS.

PET CT or MRI image fusion is preferred, with EPI experience advantageous. Licensing assistance, cost reimbursement, prepaid travel and housing, and AAA-rated malpractice coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with IMRT, IGRT, SBRT and SRS.
• Familiarity with Rapid Arc/VMAT and PET CT or MRI fusion.
• Conventional treatment planning and beam shaping (MLC) experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-ups, OTVs and simulations.
• Manage patient throughput and participate in treatment planning as needed.
