Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking locum tenens physicians to support hospital-based care from Monday to Friday with varied daily patient volumes. The opportunity includes a 25-bed inpatient unit with outpatient services and a schedule designed for stability across the week.

Typical duties include 30-minute med checks, 60-minute step-down evaluations, and 90-minute new evaluations, with federal holidays off and some weekend or vacation coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable with medication management.
• Ages 5-18.
• 10-12 patients per day.
• 25-bed inpatient unit with outpatient services.
• 30-min med checks, 60-min step downs, 90-min new evaluations.
• Federal holidays off.
• Occasional inpatient weekends and vacation coverage.
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal.
• 24-hour access to Weatherby Healthcare consultant.

Responsibilities

• See 10-12 patients per day.
• Work in a 25-bed inpatient unit with outpatient services.
• Perform 30-min med checks, 60-min step downs, and 90-min new evaluations.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday 8 am–4 pm, Monday 8 am–3 pm Tue–Fri.
