Job summary

Global Medical Staffing seeks an interventional radiologist for a role including vascular and non-vascular IR procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position features embolization, angiography, thrombolysis and IR emergencies with nephrostomies and abscess drainage.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician with board certification in interventional radiology or vascular surgery preferred.
• Active medical license in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient vascular and non-vascular procedures including embolization, angiograms, thrombolysis.
• Place and remove IVC filters as clinically indicated.
• Emergency IR procedures such as nephrostomies, cholecystostomies and abscess drainages.
• Contribute to trauma embolization for splenic, hepatic and pelvic cases.
• Read diagnostic studies between procedures to maintain workflow.
