Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician to cover alternating call and follow-up weeks in Georgia. The role includes a 24-hour call shift, followed by a Mon-Fri follow-up week, with clinic coverage Mon-Thu and 2-3 shifts per week.

Inpatient and outpatient duties require proficiency with IV medications; intrathecal administration is preferred. Assignments include pre-paid travel and housing expenses, malpractice coverage, time entry through an online portal, and ongoing consultant

Qualifications

• Familiarity with intravenous medications required.
• Intrathecal anti-infective administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during alternating call and follow-up weeks.
• Cover 24-hour call shifts and follow-up hours per schedule.
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings as assigned.

• Clinic scheduled Mon - Thu, 2 - 3 shifts per week
• 10 - 25 patients seen on average during call
• Both inpatient and outpatient practice settings
