Job summary

CompHealth facilitates locum tenens assignments nationwide. This role requires 100% critical care coverage as an intensivist, with invasive and noninvasive ventilation management.

You will work day and night 12-hour shifts across multiple hospital worksites, with on-site support from other pulmonologists when available. We handle credentialing, housing, travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage; you’ll access an online portal for assignments and time entry.

Qualifications

• Ventilation management experience required
• Invasive and noninvasive ventilation skills
• Central/arterial line management and thoracentesis

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time critical care coverage in pulmonology settings.
• Manage ventilatory support for ICU patients.
• Collaborate with on-site pulmonologists and trauma/burn teams.
• Perform procedures including central/arterial lines and chest tube as needed.
