Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a high-risk OB/GYN for outpatient duties in Visalia, CA. The role features a 4-day workweek with 9-hour shifts and one weekly evening shift, plus one Saturday per month. No deliveries or on-call requirements.

Clinical scope includes IUD, Nexplanon, colposcopy, LEEP, cryo, and HRT within an outpatient setting, with optional GYN surgeries at a local hospital. Hospital privileges and comprehensive malpractice coverage are provided, along with housing and travel arrangements

Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk OB outpatient care with no deliveries or on-call duties

• Offer optional GYN surgeries at a local hospital
• Coordinate care with hospital privileges and credentialing processes
• Utilize online portal for assignment details and time entry

Job description

• 4 days/week -- 9-hour shifts with one evening shift per week
• One Saturday per month required -- 8 am - 6 pm
• 25 - 34 patients per 9-hour shift with 15 - 20% no-show rate
• Outpatient clinic setting -- no deliveries or call
• Full scope OB/GYN -- IUD, Nexplanon, colposcopy, LEEP, cryo, HRT
• High-risk OB/GYN outpatient focus
• Optional GYN surgeries available at local hospital
• Hospital privileges required
