Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point seeks a 90FM Program Director to oversee 18 hours per week of student broadcasting. You will work closely with the Station Manager and Faculty Advisor to maintain the 90FM sound and philosophy, coordinating with volunteers and the University community to run on-air activities.

The role requires experience in broadcast radio and with the 90FM style, plus hiring and training announcers, and ensuring FCC compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in broadcast radio and with the 90FM sound and philosophy.
• Willingness to host and train announcers; available for Radiothon and Trivia fundraisers.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills; able to manage 24x7 on-air schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage the 18-hour weekly schedule and on-air staffing.
• Coordinate with Station Manager, Faculty Advisor, and volunteers.
• Recruit and train announcers; provide feedback to improve performance.
• Ensure FCC compliance and maintain required forms/logs.
• Host programming shifts weekly and participate in specialty shows as needed.
• Assist and volunteer for annual fundraisers (Radiothon and Trivia).
