Job summary

Tempe Union High School District seeks a 9-month Paraprofessional 1:1 to support students at Mountain Pointe High School. This role reports to the Student Services Coordinator and is a 0.875 FTE position at 35 hours per week for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Summary

The Paraprofessional position assists, supports, and works closely with teachers, administrators and other team members in providing educational assistance to students.

Training and Experience

Experience working directly with students in a high school instructional setting preferred.

High School Diploma or GED

One of the following Items required for Paraprofessional Highly Qualified:

• A passing score on an approved paraprofessional test
• 60 college credit hours on official transcripts
• Associate's degree or higher on official transcripts

Licensing/Certification Requirements

• Valid CPR, First Aide, and Crisis Prevention Intervention certification (if applicable). This training is provided by the District
