Dexter Public Schools is seeking applicants for Head Principal of Dexter High School for the 2027-2028 school year.

Job qualifications for the high school principal include the following:

• Preference given to a minimum of five (5) years successful teaching experience
• Preference given to administrative and/or teaching experience in the secondary/middle level grades
• A valid Missouri secondary principal’s certificate
• Required Master’s degree and pursuit toward a Specialist’s degree expected
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

This position is a 200-day contracted employment, following the school calendar for holiday observances. The index is based off of the teacher salary schedule commensurate with degrees and years of experience and a factor or 1.7
