• Create lesson plans that align with state and national standards, incorporating relevant content and activities.
• Utilize technology to enhance lessons and engage students, creating a 21st-century learning experience.
• Provide individualized and small group instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Analyze assessment data to identify areas where students need additional support and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

An 8th-grade science teacher typically develops and delivers engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards, assesses student learning, fosters a positive classroom environment, and collaborates with school staff to support student success. They also communicate with parents, integrate technology, and may participate in professional development.
