8th Grade Science Teacher – effective 2026-27 School Year

Kettering Fairmont Middle School
General Information
Applicants must have a current 4-9 or 7-12 Social Studies Ohio teaching license.
Responsibilities
- Develops daily and seasonal educational objectives.
- Supervises and manages all classroom activities.
- Participates in school-wide programs and activities.
- Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students.
- Maintains records regarding student progress.
- Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students.
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio teaching license.
- Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Educational technology skills including, but not limited to, Google Suite and Desmos.
- Special consideration will be given to applicants certified to teach College Credit Plus in the State of Ohio.
Salary
According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
