Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a teacher certification program at an accredited college or university.
• Possess or able to obtain Oregon licensure with a Subject Matter Endorsement (for secondary teaching positions).
• Ability to effectively communicate with parents, students, and staff.
• Commitment to engaging diverse families and communities in the learning process.
• Evidence of ongoing professional learning and reflection on practice.
• Knowledge of content knowledge for subjects/levels being taught.
• Skill in classroom management and maintaining acceptable student behavior.

Responsibilities

• Teach math to assigned grade levels following district curriculum, instruction and assessment practices.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure student safety and readiness to learn.
• Provide appropriate guidance, discipline and welfare for students.
• Adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs and ensure equitable access to learning.
