RSU 23 Old Orchard Beach Schools is seeking a Girls 8th Grade Basketball Coach for Old Orchard Beach Middle School (Loranger). This athletic coaching position is seasonal, located in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

The successful candidate should have coaching experience and will work cooperatively with the Athletic Administrator and Head Coach to monitor athletes. Certification requirements include CHRC, CPR/First Aid, and coaching credentials where available.

LOCATION: Old Orchard Beach Middle school (Loranger)

POSITION TYPE AND STATUS: Athletic Coaching Position, Seasonal

Located a ½ mile from the Atlantic Ocean and 15 minutes from Portland, RSU 23 is a 700 student, three-school district seeking a Girls 8th Grade Basketball Coach to join our team. The successful candidate should possess the following:

• Coaching experience preferred
• Will work cooperatively with Athletic Administrator and Head Coach as well as monitor athletes.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Citizenship, residency or work visa
• Maine Department of Education CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert/fingerprinting
• CPR and First Aid certification and Coaching Principal's certificate preferred
