Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist in preparation of vegetables, salads, meats and/or bakery items.
• Assist in cashier duties as needed.
• Serve menu items to customers on serving lines.
• Assist in cleaning in dish room and/or pot and pan areas.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Assist in cleaning of equipment and the general kitchen/dining room areas.
• Store food items and supplies properly; maintain a clean and organized storage area.
• Demonstrate knowledge of proper care and use of equipment.
• Maintain trash and garbage collection in a neat and sanitary fashion.
• Follow standards of cleanliness, health, and safety.
• Assume responsibilities of other absent employees as needed.
• Treat all employees, staff members and customers with dignity, respect and kindness.
• Be willing and able to work on a replacement basis at any campus.
• Arrive on time for work and practice good attendance, while working the schedule assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Propósito Principal Los empleados del Departamento de Nutrición tiene varias asignaciones y/o tareas en producción, sirviendo, limpieza y saneamiento. Estas tareas pueden variar todos los días.

Deberes y Responsabilidades

• Seguir las instrucciones del Programa Nacional Escolar de Desayuno y Almuerzo.
• Preparar y/o ayudar en la preparación de vegetales, ensaladas, carnes, y/o de panes, siguiendo recetas estandarizadas.
• Assistir con las tareas de Cajera cuando sea necesario. Preguntando y ofreciendo para que los clientes escojan su menú (Offer vs Serve).
• Ayudar en la limpieza de las áreas de lavar platos, y/o en las áreas de lavar ollas y cazuelas.
• Barrer y trapear los pisos.
• Guardar los alimentos y suministros adecuadamente; mantener una area de almacenamiento limpia y organizada.
• Demostrar conocimiento en el uso y cuidado apropiado del equipo.
• Ayudar con la recolección de basura.
• Seguir procedimientos operativos estándar izados del departamento de salubridad y HACCP para limpieza y seguridad de los alimentos.
• Seguir los procedimientos del departamento para promover un ambiente de trabajo seguro.
• Asumir responsabilidades de otros empleados ausentes, si es necesario.
• Estar dispuesta y disponible para trabajar en reemplazar empleados en otras escuelas.
• Llegar a tiempo y tener buena asistencia, durante su horario asignado.
• El desarrollo de otras tareas que sean asignadas por su Supervisor.
